4 Ways to Tell the Difference 
Between Ego and Intuition

I have many people tell me that they are never sure if the voices, feelings, thoughts are their intuition guiding them, or their ego playing tricks with them. Here are 4 ways to help you know - which is which!


1. Intuition is soft. Ego is hard.

Ego often speaks to us in disrespectful ways, feeling heavy and harsh.

Intuition is soft and loving, feeling light.


2. Intuition is repetitive. Ego is all over the place.

Ego will jump around from 1 thing to another, often confusing us.
Intuition will say the same thing over and over and over - softly and lovingly.


3. Intuition feels like guidance from an older, wiser, gentler being. Ego feels like being reprimanded from that angry school teacher.

Ego is often mean, condescending and rude. You would never allow your friends to speak to you the way your ego speaks to you.
Intuition is kind, loving, soft. It doesn’t mean you will want to hear what it has to say, but the message will be soft. For example many people’s intuition tells them to exercise.


4. Intuition is rarely logical. Ego is always logical.

Ego will try to rationalize with you logically. Trying to convince you of the safest and surest way.
Intuition will guide you, with love, to what will serve you the most. These are usually baby steps, as opposed to showing you the whole stair case. The reason for this, is many people wouldn’t take the step if they saw how amazing their life was going to be. I know for myself, had I known that taking Reiki was going to take me from Psychiatric Nurse to Medium & Teacher....well, not so sure I would have taken it back then. Now I am grateful every day for the amazing gifts!


With all this said, I want to explain ego. Although it sounds bad and horrible - it isn’t. Our ego’s job is to protect us, but for most of us - due negative experiences in the past, it does it through fear. So please don’t wish you didn’t have an ego. Love it. Like anything or anyone that is operating from fear - all it needs is Love!

For the Love of BLISS

I just finished an Angels & Guides reading with a client and her team gave her a very powerful message. One that I think we have all heard, but it really hit home for me today. She had made the comment earlier in the reading that she had come to realize she couldn’t feel bliss all day, every day. There were just times in her work life that she had to do things that didn’t feel bliss-ful and that was just the way it was.

At the end of the reading, her team gave her this final message - “Every moment in every day can be BLISS. It is a feeling you choose from within, not something that is give to you externally. If you consciously chose to feel bliss no matter what task you are doing, you will create bliss all day, every day. We promise.”


Wow! Today I am choosing bliss, with every breath. Won’t you join me?

Sure Fire Ways to Meditate Like Buddha

Whether you have only tried meditating once, or have been meditating for years - you know that some days its frustrating. Been there, felt that!

I used to think that meditation was about shutting off my brain for the 15 or 30 minutes I was to be meditating. Since I couldn’t do this for even a second. I quit. Then I would read another book, feel inspired and try again. And quit. I wasted a whole lot of time thinking I was a meditation “failure.”

My energetic team finally guided me to decide what meditation was for ME. Like everything else in the world, things work differently for each of us. Below are what I have found to be help me meditate like Buddha.

Get up and OMMMMMMM - meditation first thing in the morning is best for me for 2 reasons. 1. I am not on information overload. 2. It is a GREAT way to ensure a balanced day.

Take a pen and paper - on those days where my brain is on super speed, I just jot down the ideas, thoughts, to do lists, etc that come up while I am getting into my peaceful Buddha like space. By writing them down it gets them out of my head and allows my brain to relax.

Clear Your Clutter - OK, I know you have heard this a million times, but there is a reason for that. It is true. We don’t want it to be, but it is. The cleaner and clearer the space you live in - the cleaner and clearer your head is. You don’t have to take a month off work to clear it all - take baby steps. Do a room a day, or a week, or if necessary - a month. (although you may want to call in for professional help if a room will take a month - just sayin')

Guided meditations - yep, my all time favorite way to meditate. Gives my brain something to do, which helps me to focus, which helps me a successful meditator! My favorites are - mine of course, you can find these in my store. And also Kelly Howell’s. Also Doreen Virtues Chakra Clearing. If you have some favorites you would like to share with the readers please post them below.

Just do it - decide the time and days you are going to meditate and just do it. Even if you are a zillion miles away from your Buddha like space, be there. Most of our day is routine - and we need to make meditation part of our routine to ensure it happens. Like most things, if we don’t set it - we don’t do it!

Also an important thing for people to know - not everyone is going to succeed at sitting meditation. Some of you are what we could call “movement meditators” - so you need to be walking, yoga, tai chi, qi gong, etc to get into the space. This is OK!!

I strongly suggest daily meditation to raise your vibrations, find your inner Buddha and create the life your heart desires.

7 Fun Ways to Raise Your Vibrations & Feel GREAT!

We all love to feel good - well, GREAT! 
Here are 7 ways to get you feeling GREAT in less than 10 minutes!

1. Music - put on some groove makin’, booty shakin’ tunes and DANCE! For me it is important that the music I put on has fun, happy lyrics. My top 2 favorites right now are below - and you know this if you have taken workshops with me in the past few months.






2. Nature - go outside and walk, run, jump, sing, play, dance or sit quietly. Doesn’t matter what you do out there - just get out there. The fairies and nature angels clear your energy when you spend time with them. What a gift - right in our back yards!

3. Stretching - this can be yoga, tai chi, qi gong or your own stretching routine. When you stretch the lines of energy in your body open up and you feel GREAT!

4. Phone a Friend - just make sure this friend understands that you want to talk about fun, happy, positive, life affirming stuff to get your vibes a rockin’. Yes there are times in our lives when we need to talk with a friend about issues or problems, but this ain’t one of them!

5. Have a glass of water, or 2 - water is so important to our physical bodies and the way energy flows through them. The more you drink - the better you feel - and yes, the more you pee, but when you think of all the toxins that is being released, you will start to celebrate the bathroom trips! LOL

6. Watch this video - the Angels guided me to make it last summer and it really does work. While thinking about whatever is bothering you, watch it, and watch how quickly the emotional gunk is released. Angels are truly amazing!!!






7. Smile - yep, force yourself to smile. It automatically changes your vibration for the better. Of course you can put on a funny movie or listen to a comedian on iTunes to help you out. Although I have never tried it I have heard that Laughter Yoga is awesome!
