You know those times when you keep replaying a situation in your mind over and over, and it makes you madder and madder. You can actually feel it in your body. Those are times you have connected with someone energetically and that energy tie needs to be cut for you to be able to release the emotions.
Step 1 - recognize you are choosing to be connected to them. It doesn’t matter if they sent the energy cord -- you still chose to pick it up and play with it. Self responsibility is crucial to you releasing it.
Step 2 - call on who ever you feel comfortable with to disconnect the cord. Personally I always ask Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael and Sanat Kumara to cut the energy cords running between myself and the person, the person and myself and the entire situation. Knowing that in many cases it goes back into past lives I have had with the person. Take some deep breaths while they do this. You may imagine, feel, hear it, and you may not. Doesn’t matter. When you ask. It is complete!
Step 3 - Send gratitude to those who assisted, and if you can, to the person you were connected to. I find sending it to the person helps to keep it from coming back. If you find it does come back you can repeat the steps, or I would encourage you to have a Feel Good Now session to completely disconnect from them. Obviously there is something deeper that you need to be aware of before you can move on.
Special note - disconnecting from someone energetically doesn’t mean you don’t want them in your life. It can, but it doesn’t have to. I have seen miracles in my clients lives when husbands and wives disconnect from the unhealthy, unnecessary, negative energy ties and cords. Or siblings, or best friends, or co-workers, or parents/adult chidlren.
